A massive thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday in The Mall to help with our annual Christmas Sing-A-Long. We really can’t thank you enough, the support we received was amazing. We hope to post pictures over the next couple of days. Until then we would like to say special thanks to all of our wonderful VOLUNTEERS who came to sing and to hold our collecting buckets, with special thanks to Wendy Turtle for providing us with the most delicious cheese scones and brownies, which kept us going through the day!

MAIDSTONE ROCK CHOIR – thank you so much ladies, you once again did us proud and without your help we would have been quite depleted in numbers and our singing not nearly as good as I think we actually were. So many of you came along to support us, thanks to Katie for spreading the word.

To INVICTA GRAMMAR SCHOOL, again for me your presence was the highlight of the day, thank you girls and to Julie Derrick, Head Teacher, Malcolm Riley and Mark Heaton. I know you have had a really busy diary and we appreciate your support so very much. You have every right to be very proud of your school.

The free loan of the PA system yesterday came courtesy of MUSIC MATTERS Week Street Maidstone, thank you Grant and all the guys there, especially for being so patient with two technically challenged ladies!

Much appreciation to Cllr DEREK BUTLER, Mayor of Maidstone. You have been so supportive of our service in many ways and your surprisingly wonderful voice yesterday was a most welcome asset.

Lastly but by no means least, to THE MALL for allowing to sing and raise funds and to SANTA and his elf PHOTOGRAPHER thank you too for joining in and for the pictures you gave us.

Between us all we raised a total of £391.84 for our Befriending Service. See you all next year!
